Uhel, World-Forger
The Nine
The Nine embody the nine alignments and are as much defined by them as they are their portfolios. They gather their power directly from the divine word of Uhel and do not rely on the worship of mortals.
The Light Gods
Goddess of Truth
God of Light and the Sun
Goddess of Life
The Light Gods are the most rigid to serve of all the Deities; they control the celestial realms and are living embodiments of their alignment. They demand absolute adherence to their tenants. The Light Gods do not depend on their worshipers for power, and therefore see them more as servants and instruments.
The Neutral Gods
God of Justice
God of Time
Goddess of Nature
The Neutral Gods are concerned with balance in all things. Slow to act, they are difficult gods to serve because so they give so little direction. Like the other Nine, they are strict in their adherence to their alignment, which they are a living embodiment of. They do not depend on their worshipers for power, and use them only as instruments of their will in the mortal world.
The Dark Gods
God of Death and Decay
Goddess of Darkness and the Moon
God of Chaos
The Dark Gods are living embodiments of chaos and evil. They gain no power from their followers but use them only to achieve their own dark ends. Serving the dark powers is dangerous and always costly, though the rewards can be great.
The Elemental Gods
The Elemental Gods share little of the concerns of the other minor gods. They are secure in the power of their elements and feel little need to attract followers. That said, they enjoy being worshiped and often favor their priests with a small margin of their own powers. Their listed alignment is neutral, but they often care little about the beliefs of their followers.
Goddess of the Sky and Weather
Goddess of the Sea and Sailors
God of Earth and Strength
God of Fire and Forge
The Minor Gods
The Minor Gods do not endure the strictures of the Nine, so are more free to act in the mortal world. However, they depend upon their worshipers for their own power and are somewhat limited compared to the Nine. Unlike the Nine, the minor gods are not defined by their alignment and most of them can be seen to embody more than one alignment.
The War Gods
Goddess of Wrath
God of Battle and Storms
God of Chivalry and Honor
God of Archery and Hunting
Goddess of Wisdom and Defensive War
All the War Gods are very active and involved in the affairs of their followers, as battle on their terms empowers them.
The Generous Gods
God of Construction and Community
Goddess of Passion, Love, and Beauty
Goddess of Mercy and Healing
God of Winter and goddess of Summer
God of Merriment and Brewing
God of the Forest and Woodcraft
God of Commerce and Trade
The Generous Gods attract followers by using their tremendous powers to benefit their worshipers. They are seen as kind and benevolent, and usually demand little beyond specific tenants of worship.
The Exiled Gods
Goddess of Greed and Envy
God of Oaths and Vengeance
Goddess of the Underworld and Afterlife
God of Trickery and Luck
God of Blood and Murder
The Exiled Gods have all been expelled from the Dannenbrock and rely on mortal plight for their power.
