I wanted to be an archaeologist, but then I found out how dangerous a profession it was. And grants are really hard to get.

Well, Nazis and crocodiles and snakes and the like are kind of a given. Releasing a 4,000 year old Aztec god who want to devour the souls of mankind ... I mean really. Once or twice it's an adventure, but after the fourth or fifth one you really start to think just teaching in the classroom back at Harvard is a better deal.
